On the night of the festival, children parade in the streets, singing songs and carrying their glowing lanterns. Another exciting activity is the lion dance, which is performed by skilled dancers to the sound of loud drums. The lion dance is believed to bring good luck and prosperity. Families also gather to eat mooncakes and admire the full moon.
